Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Lexus NX 200t- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2016 Lexus NX 200, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class three trailer hitch receiver. Personally, if I had a Lexus NX 200 and was looking for a trailer hitch, probably my biggest thought would be how it's going to look on the back of my SUV. And to be honest with you, this one don't look too bad, even though it is completely visible. For the most part, you can really see the cross tubes kind of along the sides, but they do kind of run back and blend in a little bit, but it's not going to take away from the looks of Lexus all that much. And honestly, I think it being visible does have a positive trade off and that's how easy it's going to be to use the receiver tube is going to come out a little ways and be in the open.So whenever you do want to take off or put on your accessories, it's going to be really easy to get to. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Lexus NX 200t- Video

Rob: Rob here etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at the Draw Tite class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2015 Lexus NX 200 turbo. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. Now it is going to sit right below the bumper, but the cross tube shoots back a little bit, so the main thing we see is the receiver tube and the cross tube's just going to be kinda hidden underneath the bottom here.Now with it's a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, so we're going to have the biggest variety of options when it comes to accessories. Whether we want to free up some space on the inside, we can put a cargo carrier, put all that gear on the outside of our Lexus, or if we want to go on a trip and take some bikes with us, you can put a bike rack in here, or if we tow a trailer, we can use a ball mount. But however we're going to be using it, we're going to mount all of our accessories using the hitch pin hole here on the side. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Lexus NX 200t- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Lexus NX 200t, we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to install, the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75956.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. This is going to be a class III hitch. As you can see, the receiver tube is noticeable, but it's nice and tucked in underneath the vehicle, and it's not going to be as noticeable as some of the other ones that kind of stick out a little bit farther. Keep in mind, if it does happen to be noticed, it is a round tube design so it's going to fit nicely with the contour of the vehicle.Again, this is going to be a class III hitch. It's going to be a 2 inch by 2 inch. It's going to have a nice reinforced collar with a rounded edge, give you a little extra stability on the receiver tube. more
